This screen printing this is out of control fun!

It has been a few months since I got all my gear, and although I DID take a few months over Christmas due to a nasty hit on my head courtesy of a metal rod hanging down from my broken gazebo at Coatesville Market, I have been going great guns!

My stencils are just perfect for this domain, they turn out ever so cool.

Take a look at if you haven’t already.

Some of these shirts are taken from photos of my stencils, and then a screen is developed. Others are directly printed from the hand cut stencil, this means I can only get 4-15 shirts per stencil. Super limited run. . . I definitely like it like this. The Frankenstein below is an example of a hand cut one. They turned out sick. I had to snatch one for myself.

At the moment I am working on my first artist collaboration. This means a new range will be coming out in March by a fricken talented guy named Wolf. This is exciting stuff!

In regards to custom printing, I really haven’t taken on any jobs yet. I am more focusing on getting my own stuff done. But welcome chatting to anyone that might have some work that they want to get done.

There is a pretty dam rad barber shop in Orewa called Slim Jims. I popped in there yesterday just to have a perve at the cool space. We got chatting and we semi developed an idea of me creating a limited run shirt, throwing it together with a free fresh cut and some products we can set up some kind of competition. Always keen to work with new local businesses. . . . like ALWAYS.

Another cool thing I kinda half put my feelers out about is holding some screen printing workshops. I found there was quite a bit of interest, so this is something that will happen at some point in the near future.

2017 has already been a lot of fun. Lots more to do, lots more to start. But it’s been a lot of fun so far.
